The Short Story

I am 33 years old; 5' 10" with an average build. I have bluish-green eyes and brown hair. I was a Photographers Mate Petty Officer Second Class in the U.S. Navy. I was enlisted for 7 years and 9 months. I am a spiritual or non-religious person, always looking for answers and questioning life. I have been in church since I was born, though during my 8 years in the navy I only attended church off and on. During my first duty station, I had a bad experience with the military chapel, Protestant service, and after that, I stayed out of church for a while, except for while I was stationed in Fort Worth, Texas.

My main hobbies are multimedia Development, PC/Console games and Role Playing Games. Some of the Role Playing games that I have played include Earthdawn (my favorite), Star Wars, White Wolf, Mekton Zeta, RIFTS/Palladium, GURPS, Pendragon and once and while any of the D&D games. This had been Table Top or pencil and paper role-playing for most of the time while I was in the Navy, now though it is limited to online. These are text based RPG’s one that I used to run and three that I played, all four of these role-playing games were all in the Earthdawn world, I still play myself and a couple other characters on a Star Trek Simm on the USS London.

As for MMOs, I used to play Star Wars Galaxies on Bria as Myrisa and on Wanderhome as Wayne'A Abbott or Carrema, City of Heroes on the Freedom server as Barramaelthra, World of Warcraft on Earthen Ring and Guild Wars as Myrisa Nightwatch Sya Dyna Nighthawk, Lucian Nighthawk, Efiana Nighthawk or Syadyna Nighthawk. I am still playing Lord of the Rings Online on the Gladden Server as Ayiaminara. I also used to play Dungeons and Dragons Online, on the Thelanis server as Ryvur Nighthawk as whom. I am now currently waiting Star Wars the Old Republic to start, I can't wait.

I also read, watch, and write anything Fantasy and Sci-Fi. Here of late I have found a great enjoyment in Christian Sci-fi Fantasy. Some of my favorite writers are Karen Hancock, Bryan Davis, and of course C.S. Lewis, and J.R.R. Tolkien. I also enjoy getting outdoors and getting back to nature, though I haven't actually done this in a while. Another hobby that I have not had the chance to devote much time to; is Renaissance and Celtic Festivals. I enjoy these, as it is a time where people can enjoy and learn things about times past. I also enjoy being able to dress in the period costumes, perhaps a little of the dress up days as a kid still lives on to this day.
